Cleaning Vehicles & J.O.O.N.A.S.
Two things eventually replace your toothbrush: **cleaning vehicles** you drive, and **J.O.O.N.A.S.**, the autonomous robots that work without you. This page covers the vehicles and the garages that hold them; the robots have enough documented behaviour to warrant their own page.
Vehicle names, stat lines and unlock prices are not published by DragDrop Games. Garage behaviour below is quoted from official patch notes.
How Cleaning Scales
The official store description frames progression as going from better tools to more carrying capacity, then to depots and cleaning vehicles you "put to work". Vehicles are the step after hand tools stop scaling — they cover ground and move dust in volumes a backpack never will.
- Hand tools — toothbrush upward; see Tools & Upgrades.
- Cleaning vehicles — purchased and then managed from a garage.
- J.O.O.N.A.S. robots — autonomous cleaners detailed on J.O.O.N.A.S. Cleaning Robots.
Garages & Your Fleet
Since v1.0.3, garages are where you manage the vehicles you own. The changes matter if you rebuild your base:
- Each garage can recall, store and upgrade the vehicles you own.
- A garage no longer offers a vehicle you already own for purchase, so you cannot accidentally double-buy.
- Demolishing a garage no longer deletes its vehicles — they move to another garage, or wait until you build the next one.
- Garages can sit on square foundations, and like other machines can now span multiple foundations.
That last point makes base reorganisation much safer. You can tear down and re-lay a garage without losing the machines it was holding.
J.O.O.N.A.S. — Summary
v1.0.4 rebuilt the robots almost entirely. The headline fix: they now keep cleaning even when no players are nearby, which is what makes automation viable at all on a map this size. They also clean roughly twice as fast, work one hex at a time from the outside in, and launch capsules to the nearest Capsule Catcher — whose capacity was raised to 100 kg — without ever returning to a dock.
- Behaviour, monitoring and catcher placement are covered in full on J.O.O.N.A.S. Cleaning Robots.
- How belts, splitters and mergers carry what robots produce is on Automation & Belts.
What Still Isn't Published
Individual vehicle names, prices, unlock conditions and stat differences are not published by DragDrop Games. Coverage mentions hand-pushed cleaning machines and larger wheeled cleaning rigs, but we do not repeat those until an official source names them — treat any vehicle list elsewhere as unverified.
Last updated: 2026-10-27. Garage rules come from official v1.0.3 notes. Individual vehicle names and prices remain unpublished. Full robot behaviour moved to /guides/joonas.
