How the Loop Works
Moon Sweepers is one loop, repeated and scaled. This page breaks each stage down so you can optimise the cycle instead of just repeating it.
1. Collect — Sweep the Dust
The Moon is covered in lunar dust, and that dust is your only currency. You start with a toothbrush, so early passes are slow and deliberate — by design. Larger tools (covered on the Tools & Upgrades page) come later and cover more per stroke.
- Dust is everywhere — there is no shortage of work.
- Progress is visible: the surface turns clean with every pass.
- Your storage is limited until you upgrade carrying capacity.
2. Deposit — Depots & Shipments
Fill your storage, then bring it to a depot. From the depot you launch the shipment off the Moon to get paid. Depots are also something you place and expand as your operation grows — see Depots & Base.
3. Earn — Get Paid
Each launched shipment pays out. That cash is the entire engine of progression — every tool, every capacity bump, and eventually every vehicle is funded by dust you already swept.
4. Upgrade — Tools & Capacity
Spend earnings on new cleaning tools and increased carrying capacity so you can take on bigger jobs between deliveries. As your operation grows, cleaning vehicles come into play. The loop is now shorter, so you sweep more per minute — and the Moon gets visibly cleaner.
A Note on Pacing
Player feedback at launch notes that upgrade tiers can thin out long before the whole Moon is clean. Treat the loop as a relaxing, open-ended cleanup rather than a race to a finished Moon — and check back as DragDrop Games ships more content.
