Cleaning Mechanics

Cleaning is the whole game. This page explains how lunar dust, brush strokes, and the visible-progress system work — based on the official description and the launch build.

What You Clean

The Moon is blanketed in lunar dust, and clearing it is the entire objective. There are no enemies and no fail state tied to combat — the challenge is pure logistics: how much you can move, how far, and how efficiently.

Visible Progress

The surface turns clean with every pass, and you can track your progress across the lunar surface. That feedback loop — a visibly cleaner Moon — is the core satisfaction of the game, and it's real, not a fake meter.

Because progress is visible and trackable, it's easy to see which regions are done and which still need a pass. Work region by region instead of chasing a spotless whole.

Brush Strokes & Tools

You begin with a toothbrush, which clears a small area per stroke. Better tools arrive through the upgrade system and cover more ground per stroke — the exact tiers and stats are still being verified against the live build (see Tools & Upgrades).

What Isn't Published Yet

Exact coverage metrics, brush radii, and per-tool numbers are not yet released by the developer. We describe the system qualitatively here and will pin down specifics once they're verifiable in-game. Until then, treat any precise figures you see elsewhere as unconfirmed.
